I personally found the "gf" command quite cool, that could save a lot of tab-completing filenames. Auto-completion is a great addition too. However, I normally use that other editor that shall remain unnamed in this comment, so I should point out that it is also possible there (for basic stuff see http://www.elmindreda.org/emacs.html ) ;-)
Funny, even only pointing in the direction of that other editor was enough to have your comment marked as spam ;-)
